Elektron Musical Instruments

I've had my machinedrum less than a week and the LCD screen has started to flicker and 
become unreadable. Anyone else had this problem, is it common, and do you have any 
advice? I love this synth and don't wanna have to ship it back so soon!

i don't if this helps but everytime i plug in my monomachine on the same 
outlet as a portable heater or other high power electronics, the LCD 
light dims to the point that it becomes unreadable...
