Have you seen the new Elektron homepage?
Damn, I am already dreaming about a new OS for my MachineDrum. :-)

Do you think you could send us the 1.31 OS with the "send upgrade" function?

Best,
Nicolas

sorry but i can't use it with my computer yet as I have no way of connecting it via midi.
Here's what they wrote if you're interested... "The OS you got is an interim OS because of
some minor hardware changes we've done lately. That OS contains better implementations
in the MIDI machine department, just bugfixes really."

Peace out

I always wish that Elektron can release a device like the TE-01A or Teenage
Audio at the back of the Monomachine trailer. Runs on batteries and
portable. I can bring it anywhere to make music. What a dream!

I would buy one in NO TIME.

I jut picked up a Palm TX and Bhajis Loops (as well as Microbe) for
making music on the go. Much easier even than my laptop, and runs for
about 10-12 hours before it needs a recharge. Awesome deal for about
$350 total (including a 2GB SD card).

No, but you can export the audio AND midi to the SD card, or transfer
them via the regular Palm hotsync process. Microbe is like a mini
Rebirth, and BHajis Loops is kinda like Fruity Loops. You can load
your own samples (16bit, 44.1) into both. I was really surprised at
how good they both sound, and since you can export audio and midi,
integration with your main DAW is simple.

Go for the Palm TX (newegg.com), and then get the free app pxaclocker.
You can (safely) overclock the TX to about 500mHz then with minimal
impact on battery life.

Sorry for the OT guys.
