Elektron Musical Instruments

I went to send my SID back to Elektron HQ today for repair. I stopped  
at the last minute when I was told this would cost $188 us via fedex.  
Has anyone ever shipped a SID back to Goteborg from the eastern us  
before? Is this a normal price? It is crazy to me that the cost for  
me to send it to elektron is greater than the cost elektron estimates  
to repair it and ship it back to me.

That's a pretty crazy price.  Fedex shipping my MD back a couple  
years ago was like $100 or so, and even that was high.  I believe UPS  
and USPS are both much cheaper.

please check with support again, the normal return is via usps, some  
us-members on the list should be able to confirm this.
