How do you do the factory reset with a monomachine?

How do you do the factory reset with a monomachine?

2006-12-01 by tiwe1975

Hello,I'm the proud owner of a new MnM,yessssss :-)
I asked the shopkeeper to update the MnM,so he did,and now I have
v1.07.
Question : do I also need to do the factory reset to get the newest
patches? Only banks A-B-C are full,is this normal?
And if I need to factory reset the unit,HOW DO YOU DO IT??? I tried
holding function during start-up but I guess that's only for the
machinedrum and NOT the MnM.

Ps : I have alot of old vintages like jupiter8,juno60,juno2,CS-15,TB-
303....And I must admit that some sounds on the MnM come very
close,THUMBS UP FOR ELEKTRON !!!!

Ps: I also love SID-sounds,these are not bad on the MnM but do you
guyz think that I should opt for a SIDSTATION to sit aside my MnM?
My guts tell me that the original should sound much better than thru
a DSP emulation, what do you think?

Try rebooting the machine and holding down function. There's a menu that
will come up, select option 2 (I think).
