Maybe the next os can display the note value instead the pitch value, or
maybe both? or maybe give the user the option to toggle between them ?

That might be cool, but then people would start asking for all kind of
synthy features, like envelopes and then next thing you know people
would be asking for an arpeggiator and more detailed time resolution and
multi-timbrality, voice allocation and it would just be completely out of
hand. I've asked for lots of features on MD but turning into a JP-8000
isn't one of them :) I'd rather see the keyboard shortcuts and slower
LFO's I've mentioned; I only provided the drum frequencies as a service
for those weirdoes who want to abuse their machinesssssssssssss

Speaking of abuse, I attempted to replicate the sound of my mc-202's
tape sync FSK output with EFM->CL last night....and I actually got
the MD to trigger the mc-202's sequencer for a short bit! unfortunately,
there are many more FSK pulses per second than 32nd notes, so it went
very very slow.

Wow! All those features would RULE! Heh. J/K. (don't
want to overwork the elektron guys anymore than they
are)

Slower LFOs are something I'd like to see as well.
Hopefully this weekend I'll get around to sending them
the survey they sent me with the MD. The only other
feature I'd like to see is a "reverse" feature, both
on notes and patterns. Being able to copy a pattern
and reverse it before pasting it would be nice. And
being able to say "This note plays backwards" would be
nice too. I like when beats go "thump thump pmuht
thump".

Hey! I'm no weirdo! Heh, although I'm sure my
girlfriend would disagree. She's sick of hearing me
babble about parameter locks and AM and gating. heh.

Nice page, btw. You've got me hooked on getting an
EZ-Kit now :)

"Think" your 202-patterns in another resolution? The standard is 192
steps per measure, right? Program your patterns as if it were 96/48/24
steps per measure instead, and you wouldn't have the problem with the
202 being played too slow.
