sidstation/sync/ring in poly mode?

hi there, i just wondering what the sidstation does when it is in polymode. than the sync- and ringmodulation- feature is never a steady thing. sometimes it sounds like portamento.i guess it is triggered to itself..but why is it so random? also the lfo´s -maybee only the ramp- work in a other way... all the best stephan
