it took me some days to realize you all are NOT talking about an sidstation os update...

btw: will a sidstation os update be released ever again? controlling the sid voices with separate midi channels would be cool, but i guess this will never be able b/c the sidstation is not designed to support that function?!

here's a tip I came up with while enjoying the new .99 OS :)

I wanted to be able to crank the filter on all the sounds at once, or
crunch up the sound with the SRR... well an easy way to do this is to
route the all the machines (except one INPUT machine) through one of
the individual outs, then patch a short cable from that indi-out to
the input A or B... now you can route the INPUT machine out the main
outs and you have control over all the nachines with the main effects
still usable :) This was a pretty obvious idea, but you have to try
it to see how much fun it actually is!

  cheers

MD_MPC

Hey!

I just wanted to ask about your experiences with MD and MPC2000xl.

1. When you midi-trigger a whole MD Pattern
MPC is 135 BPM, MD is 135,3 BPM, Right?
or 135,2 or 135, 4? what do you think?

Hmmmm...when I record a Song (135 BPM) with
MPC as Master Sequencer into Cubase, the Cubase Tempo
is 135,02 or something like that, so the difference is not so big.

2. Anybody dumped the Kits and Sequences
into the MPC with OS 0.99 already?

Ciao

I had similar experiences with the MD and Cubase on Atari. No problem
as long as they are synchronized.

With 0.99 I can go up to 300 bpm with 80% swing, and still keep the
303 synchronized via the Doepfer MSY-2 syncbox. Yeah! :)
