Yes I've noticed this bug on 0.99, especially on sounds with a longer decay,
the decay changes sometimes on random notes (ends too early). I notice it
mostly on hi-hats.

For all drumkits? Including the sampled ones? There is a small
"natural" variation between the hits of a drum, they are modelled that
way to make the sound more "alive". Have they overdone it?

not the sampled one actually but everything else - may be they have over
done it - it's pretty extreme on mine and i don't remember hearing it
before.

hmm. wonder if this is fixed/changed in OS 1.00b - i guess i'll find out
tonight.

cheers

Re: [elektron] OS 0.99 bug?

2001-10-17 by Suneil Setiya

figured out the problem.

basically i had the midi in and out connected to my maudio delta 1010 and,
regardless of whether i had audio software running, when i played patterns
on the MD, it (the delta 1010) seemed to be bouncing the midi output so that
it came back in through the midi-in and was causing minor changes in the
sound/triggering as a result. removing the midi-in or setting to local mode
fixes.

cheers

MD_Midi_Patterns

2001-10-22 by splank!

Hey,

as far as I could see from the manual its only
possible to trigger Patterns A 1-16 from an
external sequencer.

Has anybody got an Idea how to trigger the B Bank?
I think this feature is very useful.

From looking at the Midi/sysex documentation, I don't
think there's a way to do this right now. I agree it
would be very useful. Maybe an extension of the MIDI
Map Editor in the global settings?

c.

btw: OS1.00b is beautiful :)

As far as I can see, you can already do this in the map editor. Unless I've
got the wrong end of the stick?

Heh. You may be right. I'm at work and based it on
looking at the manual online (for OS0.95) My MD is at
home, and I haven't played with the map editor yet.
Hm. Maybe I could convince my boss to let me start
bringing it to work... :)

Hey, I think Ifound it.
Didn\ufffdt try it, but under
GLOBAL-Y Midi Map it can be done.

The Patterns must be assigned to a note first.

MD_Timing

Am I stupid?
When sending a midi-clock from my MPC
and the MD is slave,
the MD is running away after a while....

how is this possible?
