Elektron Musical Instruments

I have been making deep house for the past couple of years, and have 
everything down except my drum sounds. 
The MD looks like it could be the answer to my prayers, from reading 
reviews it seems like the perfect way to creating distinctive drum 
sounds. Only thing when I listen to the demo's it just sounds like a 
909. 

Can the MD make drum sounds like the ones in the tracks below?
