saving patterns and kits

Hey ppl!
I\ufffdm new to this. I just got my MD yesterday. IT ROCKS!!!
I already made some killer grooves, but I\ufffdm having problems when saving 
stuff. When I save a kit, it seems like I save the sound parameters but not 
the sequence itself. Can any of you guys tell me what\ufffds the best way to save 
your work?

Saving a kit just saves the kit data, not the sequence, to save the
sequence, just copy the pattern, and paste it wherever you want to keep it
