power supply?

power supply?

slightly edited, this is really rude.. considering the great people who
created this box
run the list! ...

Brings up the issue of power supply? I've never had it reset on me, or lost
the patches (after it was shipped anyhow). And mine has taken some damage..
so there we go. Make sure you have the right power supply!

Sorry - I for sure don't want to flame, but I must deny this as far as some of the early Customers
*do* experience these problems. So I think we should understand that there are some Customers who
sometimes feel a little uncomfortable considering the higher price they paid for the early Releases
of the Sidstation (that seem to be somewhat more unstable than the later released ones) and the trouble
they have with it (For example my SidStation resets that *often*, I never would consider to store Patches
in it ... also I got some very nasty electric Shock when touching it ... and yes, I have the correct Power-Supply
for my Country and it belonged to the original purchase at Elektron AB)
The Problem isn't related to the Studio-Cabeling as I used the SidStation in several Studios already,
and all other (at least 35) Synthesizers are running 100% stable here at my Place.

Anyway, of course the behaviour of this insulting Person was quite annoying and surly not ok.

I was just about to unsubscribe after those emails (also the Java-Banners of OneList become painful)
but at least the last email about Table-Usage was finally related to the SidStation and informative.

Kind Regards,
Johann

I agree, I already one a sidstation and don't need to be reminded how cool
it is. Lets get to some useful programming tips, patch, exchanges, useful
stuff.

Well I can't explain this. Is there any explanation?
I wouldn't want to offend anyone, but this sounds a bit dissapointing, not
to mention dangerous.

I haven't had one problem with this (other than those created by the stupid
australian shipping handlers)..
I've made patches from day 1 , and they're all still there (no resets
either)..

So maybe it needs to be checked out?
Does anyone else get these sorts of problems (elektron? have you come across
this?)..

Andrew
