Update: my MD is back

Update: my MD is back

2002-06-02 by kenny_garlic

it´s only fair, isn´t it? after complaining to this group how i
wouldn´t receive my MD back for weeks, i´m gonna give you all a
positive update as well.

i did indeed (finally) receive my MD back 2 days ago, on friday, and
it´s working flawlessly for the first time. no more having to
switch it on 2 times every time, no more crashing at all (my MD´s
been switched on since friday evening and it´s working just fine)
- just the way it ought to be.

i´m convinced that my *public* venting did help a bit in getting
my MD back faster (even though thats mere speculation). while i´m
still slightly annoyed that i *had* to make such a fuss in the first
place, this feeling is passing now in favor of having fun with the MD
and the rest of my gear again!

Fixing things

2002-06-02 by CraZ

Dear Group,

As a raw acid live act, we have been seriously looking at a MachineDrum for
some time now. The SidStation is part of our setup for almost a year now..
and for some odd reason we've grown quite attached to the little silver
box. The MachineDrum info and samples are convincing, as are the many
positive comments on this very list.

One thing that worries me is the little annoyances that some of you
MachineDrum owners have reported about. The clicking, the crashing.. the
little OS flaws. To what extent is Elektron fixing these things
permanently? I bet they learn from each of these occasions..

Regards,

CraZ
