Elektron Musical Instruments

Hi

Just wanted to inform the group that today I couldnt resist it 
anymore.
I have ordered the Machinedrum.
My kids are gonna kill me for the lousy holidaytrip they are getting 
this year:-)

Its now in Paris!?
I envy the thing, I never been to Paris:-)

Hi Bjørn
Seems like the MD user base in Norway is growing. I know of at least 
6-7 other MDs in Norway (alle er i Oslo, men jeg skal holde meg for 
god til å "disse" Bergen.... ;-)) That's quite a lot for such a tiny 
country.
Would be nice to hear what kinds of rhythms you'll be making with it 
some time. :)

Finally got the Machinedrum today. 
This evening are going to be very special. Just machinedrum and me:-)

Just wonder if I am the first one from Bergen who owns a machinedrum.

About rytm-making, i am a newbie, this is my first drummachine, so it 
will take som time before you got any decent thing from me.

(Hva med litt buekorps-lyder, det er jo noe som østlendinger "elsker" 
når de flytter til bergen:-)  )

Good thing! I don't know of any MD's in Bergen, you're probably the 
first! :-)

I'm not a big fan of "buekorps" sounds, even though I lived in Bergen 
for a year. (Maybe that's why) :-) But try making any odd sound, it 
will lead you to new sounds that you wouldn't believe could come from 
the MD. I've gotten several punchy basses, nice strings and twang 
guitar from it! Also, try the EFM sounds for Pole/Basic Channel-style 
synth sounds. There's a range of melodic sounds to be squeezed from 
it as well, try the TRX and the EFM sounds. My cousin managed to make 
the MD say "ELEKTRON". :-)
