general question?

2002-06-22 by fuentes925

Hello,
I have had my Machinedrum now for about a month, I love it. I am
fairly new to music production, I only own a machuindrum and a nord
micro modular. But with these 2 pieces I have been very happily
making beats, but I think its time to add to my setup, so I wanted to
ask people with experience what would be your next piece of gear to
add to my simple setup if you had $1200.00 to spend. I have been
leaning towards a sampler but know nothing about them. I am looking
for a fairly easy and live gig friendly sampler. I would love to hear
some comments on this subject. Oh and sorry for the off subject post.

Thanks in advance for any info..

You also might need a live-sequencer besides a sampler...get a
Yamaha RS7000. It's a great hardware sequencer with a
sampling-section and tone generator for additional bread and
butter sounds. Great all in one production tool with
live-abitlities. And you should find it in the US for about $1200.
