to everyone wondering where to get a wall wart thats suitable..
try electronic goldmine or parts express (they both have websites).. they 
sell overstock stuff for cheap..  I got a 6v 800ma PS from electrinic 
goldmine for 5 bux, and it works fine.. it even had the right plug!!!

can anyone in the advise an alternative u.k power supply that will
function on my machinedrum sps-1? i've managed to break my original.

Buy a new one from elektron, it's totally NOT standard and you'll  
waste time searching, no kidding.

How have you managed this? It's built like a tank!

cheers i'm in the middle of ordering a new one. this will be my second
replacement so i guess i should never get in a tank. personally
i think this is one of the worst things about this bit of hardware
and would expect something a bit more durable and versatile
considering the cost. thanks for the comment.
