Well, this is amazing:

I sent my MD to elektron to exchange the knobs
and some other repair-works LAST THURSDAY.

THIS TUESDAY it came back,
fixed,
knobs exchanged,
cleaned.

only 5 DAYS, and they didn\ufffdt even charge the Fedex-Fee
for the sending back because it\ufffds garuantee.

If you find another company that has a faster and has more personal service

i had the same quandry at first, but i tried the "general midi 
instrument" (or something) definition and it was fine for the 
sidstation. (i'm at work so i don't have any more info than that). i 
haven't sequenced the MD via cakewalk cos i'm still messing about 
with its own sequencer.
