Elektron Musical Instruments

Salud!

I know you all know, but Machinedrum kicks ass! I've had it for two months,
and its sonic range is AMAZING. Last night I programmed a pattern using an
unrecognizable BD as hi hat. :)

It takes me far beyond my wildest expectatives. It's worth every cent.

Does anybody know if there's any OS revision in the horizon with new
candies?

Who needs a life having the Machinedrum? :))

just uploaded a new song, where I use the MD from drums. All other 
sounds come from the Waldorf XT synthesizer. In fact it is a demo song 
for the third usersoundset.

But i would be even more ashamed to make advertisements for the MD and not

rackattack, it would be here... :-)

By "interface" you mean the way to go in the different menus/parameters? For
me that's not so important as i only work in my h-studio for the moment...
no live concerts yet (not enough experimented...)    =: (
Well most of the important parameters you can get them easely... as you know
how. don't you think?

Now in another way... what about the sound capabilites?
I suppose the MD is mor versatile and can generate a more wide range of
percussion/drum sounds... No???
I know there are 4 different sound architectures in the MD but maybe thanks
to the synthesis of the RA, can you also get the same range of sounds?

One mroe thing....... I only live at 50 kilometers from where you live... I
am from Luxembourg... Be carefull taht not a man suited in black doesn't
stole all your equipment... =; P

It basically "fades" between parameter lock values.

  So, for instance, if one note has pitch set to 0 and the next note 
has it set to 127, instead of jumping from 0 to 127 as soon as it 
hits the second note, in the time between the two notes the pitch 
will rise in a linear manner.  (e.g. halfway between the two values 
the pitch will be 64)

  Does that make sense?

  Also, I assume it's linear, but it could be exponential... 
Actually, that would be a cool feature -- being able to choose slide 
type :)

  Use the slide on the note you want to slide into (the second note).

  However, that doesn't mean don't use slide on the first note or on 
both notes!  You can create interesting continuous tones by using 
slide on both notes, for instance... Be creative :)

Sure! Some examples:

Filtering
Distorsion
Sample rate reduction
Auto panning (in different frequency bands!)
Gating a Sidstation

Love the inputs! I haven't done any feedback loops from the MD to
itself yet...
