Hi,

I've got problems with the audio inputs of my MD. When I plug the 
stereo main out of my cs6x in the MD, only input A is right. Nothing 
for input B. Why? However I use the same input A/B synth. Which INP 
SYNTH is good in this case (gate, filter, env). I hope MD inputs 
isn't broken with too much level in the MD.

Those are mono inputs.  Try using the filter input machine first.  The
gate and envelope require more tweaking and you have to make a pattern
with the drum keys with these to hear a sound.  The filter doesn't
need a pattern programmed.  Also make sure alev and gate are all the
way to the right when you start.  You can turn this down later.  Keep
trying, you'll get it.

Hi,

Thanks endlessnessisticman for your quick answer. I try last evening, 
A and B inputs are ok. I've saved the kit with the two audio inputs 
and this morning, no sound still I press drum keys with the inputs 
synth... Why? I don't understand relationships between level, alev 
and gate.
"Gate to the right, then down". Why not always to the right?

Very nice to use MD as sequencer. It's better without computer!

I don't know the difference between gate and alev.  But, I know you 
can make some gating effect with these with your inputs.  That's what 
I think.  You can do some kind of enveloping with them.

I don't know what I wrote.  Maybe I meant you can turn the levels 
down after adjusting filters, lfos, and effects.

I have been using it as my only sequencer for the last month.  It 
takes some time to get used to it.  I've been having some problems 
with my virus like live recording and the virus triggering the MD.
