It wasn't easy but I did get it to work My usual midi setup for updating my synths, opcode 8port SE, has no problems but this time it did. In this case I also tried with a MOTU PC midi express, an Emagic AMT 8 and a Steinberg PC midi 3. None of the four past the midi test. I then tried a Midiman Portman PC 2 x 4 - which worked. On the other hand a lot of Midiman interfaces and German synthesizers don't get on well. But since Midiman also works with Clavia - it obviously likes Swedish synths :-) There can also be interface/sequencer problems with other synthesizers when using midi file upgrades.
