The tables are the best. You can use them like a sequencer, by copying a patch several times, then writing several melodies inside the wave table. And once you've done that, you can transpose the different melodies just by hitting a different midi input note...but be careful if you want to stay inside the same key signature... Is a multi-timbral OS still planned? I also like to make complex arpeggiations inside the wave tables, then use my external arpeggiator to drive the internal arpeggiators. I put PWM LFO's and a filter LFO on it then run the whole thing through tons of delay. The result is extremely complex texture. By selectively enabling the osc's you can get a variety of effects... I usually don't get around to assigning values to the knobs cuz i'm so lazy though! At least once every five minutes my station reboots itself! I hope the new OS fixes this.
