song/pattern check + fx?

I was working on a wicked pattern and sounds when all of the sudden I tapped the pattern song button by accident. I freaked out after this. I was tired to begin with. I'm thinking there should be a "Are you sure? Yes/No" option here. I lost everything. I had a gnd sin sounding like a phunky guitar and now it's all gone. I was so disturbed that I gave up any time in my studio last night after that. I had to forgive and forget. Although I could probably reremember what sounds I used. Of course I still have the pattern. It still took me over an hour do make what I did. I have a question. Is the fx saved with the kit?
