it can't be done. asked for that option at elektron and got a reply they'll
take it on to the next OS update if possible. It was the first time someone
actually came up with it they said. I was annoyed by it just like you...

Nah, Rui's method works.  In fact, I was about to post the same thing
when I read he had already done so.

Just change the mapping of the drum to "--".

Of course, the only problem with this is that then the drum tracks
cannot be triggered externally...  which I do think should be an
option.

vintage chip inside, and 2 dsps ?

Hi Jasper,

I think what you are referring to is the fact that the MIDI clock signal is always on... certainly something they need to change. See the earlier mails for how to turn off the midi out from the pads.
