hi all,

  i first want to say, i love my sid, and elektron for there support and 
availability.
  i'm writing to see if anyone can explain how to deliver my patches to a 
someone, or a site.
  i would love to share my programs, but don't know what way to save them. i 
use vst pc3.7, and cakewalk9.
  any help would be much appreciated.

Cakewalk has an excellent SYSEX storage function. Go to View->Sysx. 

If you want to backup your patches, chosse a location and press receive,
then "you start dump on instrument" and then make the SidStation dump by
going System->MIDI and choose either dump patch or dump all.

If you want to load instruments, choose load bank, then Send and the
SidStation will be receiving patches. It's as simple as that! :)

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
