Re: [elektron] Monomachine Contra

Um.... you named several different synths that have the COMBINED
capabilities of ONE monomachine!! I have several other products (a lot of
which you named), so I do keep up with the the latest. The monomachine has
some very unique features, just as the rest of them. Plus it sounds like it
COMBINES a lot of unique features into ONE machine (i.e. MONOmachine) ;).

I do agree that the monomachine is not creating some kind of
incomprehensible new technology as far as synths go, but I do think the
product sounds very interesting. I am waiting for more information though.

Thank for listening

I think your "contra" analysis is as fuzzy as anyone that praised the synth
over here... the truth is that we don't know enough yet to make any precise
speculation but we do trust elektron to make something different ; and that
is exciting ; that's all there is...

I don't see why we could not get excited, even if it is about things that
aren't really concrete yet ;-)

Well, its a 6 part multitimbral Groovebox for 2000 Euro. Its
certainly gonna be interesting. but thats a lot of money.

if clavia would release something with specs like that (a 6 Part
multitimbral nord lead with an integrated sequncer) people would be
more critical.

Actually the Electribe Mx looks a lot like that (not fully), and
will certainly cost a lot less.

I actually plan to buy a Monomachine, i just feel they have to push
the specs a lot more to be up-to-date and priceworthy.

Peace,

Hey, I'm a big fan of your label :-)

Let's wait for the monomachine to be released...
I love the MD's interface, that's a plus for me.
I bet the monomachine will have a great UI, something that other synths
lack.

you are right...the Magic of the Machinedrum is the User Interface.
And the way you can build funky grooves with the sequencer..

i just dont get too excited about having "2 Audio Ins", like some
other people here..

peace.
