Monomachine storage?

Monomachine storage?

2003-04-08 by James

I know no *real* specs on the Beast have been released yet, but I'm
just posting to bring up the need for a portable backup/storage
system for this kind of gear.

Alot of sequencers have smartmedia or floppy drives. If the MM has
anything, can't really see from the pics, I hope it's a CF reader...
Or even better, a SCSI port that supports HDDs/CDs/Flash.

I just don't want to lug around a laptop or screw with some MIDI
dumper if I pick one up.

Machinedrum reset

2003-04-08 by Federico Ciapi

I have a really strange problem with my MD: some tracks trigger the M1
track, even if there aren't any notes there.
I want to try resetting it; which one is the right reset procedure if I
don't want to lose all my patterns and kits?

empty reset, factory reset or soft reset?

It was soft reset, and fixed it.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
