now imagine it in record mode. You press a step button and the leds light up
for the notes memorized in the sequencer. The ultimate step sequencer!
:)))))

[ALL] Can we please add the machine we're talking about in the subject.

2003-08-22 by TonyBlack - 100% Acid [JohnnyBusca]

Hello,

I would really appreciate it when people add the machine they're talking
about in the subject.

This will make it easy for people to filter the messages.

I suggest we use the abbreviations : SID, MD, MM and ALL (general elektron
stuff) with square brackets around it... Something like:

Subject: [elektron] [SID] Great LFO implementation! Not to be found in any
synth!

and

Subject: [elektron] [MD] LED blinking in record mode?
[Elektron] [MD] Multi midi channel support?
[Elektron] [MD] New OS update with better hihats.

and

Subject: [elektron] [ALL] You're the best!

( [elektron] is automatically added by the mailinglist engine. The rest
should be added manually.. )

I don't say we have to do it, but I really would appreciate it...

Best regards,
JohnnyBusca

Re: [elektron] [choco-starfish] 303-303-909-909-808

2003-08-22 by Damon Menne

If I had two 303s AND two 909s AND an 808, I'd be too content bobbing
in a sea of bassline and groove to give a flying rats "choco-starfish"
about well-formed subject lines.

This group doesn't have NEARLY enough traffic to warrant the
additional hassle of worrying about topic for every single subject
line. If you're having that much problem with your inbox getting
flooded, switch over to web-only mode.

"choco-starfish" funny.

By the way, here are some photos of my studio:
http://f1.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/endlessnessisticman/

Tell me if you can see the full image. I'm not sure how the Yahoo
photos work.

It's a very nice courtesy to pay attention to subject lines, no matter how
little list traffic there is. If there are too many emails, digest mode is the
answer. I read over 35 Yahoo groups alone in digest format, plus a bunch of
other lists, nearly all of them about music gear--because (some days) there are
nuggets of good learning amid the noise.

On any list that deals with multiple devices, when people are specific in
their subject lines, it's deeply appreciated.
