That was my picture, and they are connected exclusively together
(temporarily).

So far the formant synth has been tough to get using... it's very quiet and
without a manual it is tricky to decipher exactly what is going on. :) But
that's also the fun part!

cheers

Hmmmm, I thought I had the same problem but it seems the voice
machine needs other parameters for AMP and Filter to work correctly.
I had been playing with a SAW and when I switched to the
voicemachine it sounded very soft.
After adjusting the Hold parameter for AMP and WOFS for Filter it
became much better.
I've recorded some bit's and tonight I put them online.

I've made VERY nice sounding bass sounds in very little time btw.
I also encountered some strange behaviour but not sure if it was me
or a bug.

More later,

Ronald.

I have been laying with it more, and can get it louder, but I can't
get it to say anything intelligible. I was trying to program it to
say "house", but I'm not sure how to program in the vowel sounds, and
the H and S consonants don't sound like I would expect.

Hopefully the manual covers the VO in detail.

Yes, that's important, the Decay and Release for the VO-6 is much
much shorter than the other machines. It's a bug and will be
addressed in future updates. In the meantime, make sure you turn up
the decay and maybe the release to high values to get some usable
sound out of the VO-synth.
