Re: [elektron] MM Track select and mute

I totally agree! I would love to see that feature implemented. It has been very frustrating for me to try and play a live track with the MM and have to hold the function button down to mute or unmute. I would far rather see the functionality reversed so that you can select the track to edit it by holding function first.

  Hi,

I was just playing the MM and MD together (so fine!!!!) but i
discovered a not so nice thing.
On the Md you can unmute with one hand and do something else
(playing the MM :-) ) with the other.
As you go live you def. want to unmute tracks on both machines at
the same time at some point; Not possible at the moment :-(
With the MM you have to press function at the same time to unmute.

My suggestion is to switch the current way, so:
-Pressing the track buttons mutes and unmutes.
-To select a track press function + track button.
Makes more sense to me as most people use mutes a lot when
performing.(on the RS7000 it's also like this and it works fine)

  Ronald.

I think elektron should implement on *both* the monomachine and the
machinedrum a feature where tapping [ Function ] twice quickly makes
the machines behave as though function is held down, until one taps
twice quickly on [ Function ] again.
