Distorsion with the new OS?

Distorsion with the new OS?

2003-10-15 by jgb@c64.org

Has anyone else experienced this? OS 0.91

On track 1 I have a bassline playing, on track 5 the sampled drums with
filter on them. If you reboot the MnM and mute all tracks except track 1
it sounds ok. As soon as you unmute track 5 track 1 gets distorted.

A bug report has been filed. Sysex has been dumped, just waiting for info
where to send it.

no. but I have experienced similar weirdness. in this kit that I was
working on before I upgraded OS's, if I change the machines for one of
the empty tracks (from gnd->sin) to the VO, it will kill all sound the
moment I try playing the VO. and then I get nothing until I reboot. but
it doesn't do it every time, so it's not really bug report worthy I
guess. it also didn't occur until I upgraded the OS.

VO wigs out on me constantly. When trying to compose and not just be a
bug-hunter, everything I do with the VO I'm currently doing in it's own
pattern, with it's own kit, on track six, after sprinkling 8-bit wizard
icon printouts about the studio and dancing in circles for five minutes
incanting 'klatu verata nikto'. I record whatever I've built to audio
immediately and have my DAW syncing from there with other patterns.

It's terribly tedious.
