Elektron Musical Instruments

Before posting this as a bug again I want to now if this behaviour is 
as designed. When I erase a track the machine is deleted too and the 
GND machine appears instead. My machine/track fx editing is lost and 
when I play the keyboard I hear nothing.
It makes more sense to me that erasing a track leaves the machine/ 
track fx settings intact.
(or you erase melody only, but when I do that function "erasing 
locks" appears and it seems that that is the case; only the locks are 
deleted)
Could you give a little help on these new functions Daniel?

I think, this is a bug, because I had this problem yet in 0.92 and 
posted to elektron. The reset to GND was imo changed between 0.91 & 
0.92 and I'm wondering why it still exists...

It is indeed a "non-prefered behaviour", and it's strange it's been 
lurking around for so long. I can almost swear it was fixed at some 
time, but now it seems to be there again. We'll get rid of it 
somwhow. :)

Erase melody will be renamed into Erase locks. It's a part of the 
new "super copy" functions, where you can change the defatult action 
of the copy/paste. The most useful probably is that you can 
copy/paste machines without the need of going into kit edit! The 
erase locks / copy melody was a bonus we could squeeze in from 
public demand.
