Okay, no I haven't yet ordered my MM, but I've been making music. To all the back seat producers and friends out there, please listen and send your (high IQ) comments. I could use some feedback on this one... http://www.iamjen.com/homesickalien.html I appreciate you taking the time to listen. NYCTHINKER

That's a very professional recording, and nicely polished song. I'm not into pop tunes but yours sounds like it would be successful, for sure.

I agree. I like your other two songs on the site better, but that just personal taste, I'm not really a fan a guitars anymore. The vocals on all are incredible! :) I esp like "at the same time"

Yeah, "At the Same Time" is a really beautiful song. "A.T.S.T." and "Something" have a 'special' quality: they don't really sound like anyone else - - that's a quality that I personally always respect . "Home Sick Alien" is really really strong, well performed song, but -- to my ear -- it sounds a little like Sherl Crow. We already have a Sherl; be Jen. (also, as a closet physicist, "a billion light-years" is a little excessive, even if you could fold space ... just kidding ... ) b.t.w. is that an Adrenalinn on the guitar in the intro? --- In elektron-users@yahoogroups.com, Andy Tarpinian <evildead@n...> wrote:

Hey, you had me laughing, thanks for the great response. Not an adren, but a Kaoss Pad 2...it was an acoustic guitar part (you can hear it mixed in a little) put through one of the phasey/resonant patches and I just moved my finger in circles...8) JEN --- In elektron-users@yahoogroups.com, "todd_leben" <ShivaZ_1@h...> wrote: > Yeah, "At the Same Time" is a really beautiful song.
