intermodulation?

intermodulation?

2004-02-23 by schmackofanz

hi,
i stumbled across some strange thing in the mono and cant figure out if its a bug or a
feature.
try it for yourself.

in a kit that uses a FX machine change the FX machine into an instrument.
now when i record some notes for that track it sounds like the sound is intermodulating
with the sound of the tracks that were sent to the fx machine in the original kit settings.
When i play live i get a stack of the tracks that were sent to the FX track plus the
instrument that replaced the FX.
Cant find a way to get rid of that.

is it just me?

Hans

This is probably a feature, you can let a track recieve it's triggers from
another track.
Check this from Kit Setup and then select TRIG.
Here you can see at Trig Pos from wich track the trigs are recieved.
In your case the FX track probably recieves it's trigs from another or vica
versa.

Ronald.

list of links

2004-02-24 by john parker

The list of links to people who make sounds with elektron machines can now
be found here:

http://www.eyekhan.com/elektron.html

Please note this is a change of address because the old page was appearing
incorrectly on some browsers (thanks Joe, for spotting that).

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

If interested in adding your link on this page please email me off list.
When you send me a link be sure to include the name you want listed and a
link to a page that you can update on your own. Try not to send me links to
individual songs that may only be posted for a short while.

In order to keep it up to date, I will periodically post a message to the
user group to ask for new entries and to inform new members.

That's cool. I think you should tell elektron. Maybe they'll throw
you a joystick or two... Maybe just a big fat knob.;)

may post it themselves.
