Monomachine

2004-03-26 by sirsimonjames

Just took delivery of a monomachine. Only had a couple of hours to
play on it but it has blown me away.

Just spent an hour playing with the V/O machine this mornign and had
lots of fun but didn't come up with anything that made sense. Anyone
got any tips or hints at programming this?

Thanks in advance
Simon

the best way is to follow the tutorial in the manual to get it to
say "Monomachine" :-) after that, check out the Yahoo group's file
database; someone created a chart of how to make different vowel sounds
and that's pretty helpful.

good luck!
Joe

I really don't find the v/o machine particularly useful as far as
generating understandable words. But I do like it for generating
synth sounds that have a hint of vocalism in them.

Hello everyone, I don't have the monomachine yet and it all depends on
how you answer the following questions :

I like sounds which are very electro, 80's synth-pop but more aggresive.
Is the monomachine good for these types of sounds?

I honestly can't think of a better machine for this.
