monomachine gig in nyc

monomachine gig in nyc

2004-04-23 by t_aint

If anybody is in New York City I am doing a very informal gig with
just my monomachine (keyboard version) and no other gear. I
will be playing tracks that will later be used in another project but
mostly I'll just be goofing around on it playing the sounds I have
made.

It's on saturday, 10 PM at a place called vertexList (vertexlist.net).
I'm playing as 'jenghizkhan' and its the type of gig where you can
stand over me to watch what I'm doing, etc. (i.e. no stage). If
anyone just wants to see the machine or meet and talk that
would be cool.

Just 30 minutes or so. It's a great line up of fairly well known
NYC electronic artists (besides myself) starting at 9 PM and
ending at 11 PM. I'll be using it again with a live drummer in May
in an project called Man From Planet Risk.

Make sure you say, 'hi,' if you make it.

Williamsburg ahhhhhh. No way.

Sorry, had to say something. A friend tells me about Williamsburg all
the time.

Have fun. I miss live gigs.

It's sort of Williamsburg but on the periphery. I'll try to have fun.
Turns out the other people are all hot shots. All I got is my monomachine.
May be enough?
