Monomachine sfx-60 or sfx-6

2004-06-10 by navintheebs

I think this has been discussed here before, but I am wondering what
the opinions are from those who have the sfx-60.

Can a keyboard controller replicate the functions missing in the
tabletop model?

I love that the sfx-60 is the same size as the machinedrum, but
spending as much as the sfx-60 is, I would rather not regret not
buying the sfx-6.

what is the word on the streets?
thanks.

Purely for cash purposes I had to buy the SFX-60. If I had my way
though I would have gone SFX-6 all the way. Especially after I hooked up
an oxygen8 to it and tweaked the pitch bend/mod wheels a bit - man that
joystick must be fun. The wheels don't even do it justice considering I
can't even replicate the downward motion.
I'm sure it would have made my LivePA gig a whole lot more fun too..
One of these days I'm going to upgrade :)
