while doing sysex dumps (monomachine), for example sending ALL or
SONGS+P+K, the machine sends ok until it stops and shows "288/296
messages sent" and never goes to the end. is it supposed to send every
message or is it normal that it stops before? when verifying sysex
dump there's no errors...

it's normal because it's a bug :-) I talked to Elektron about it
awhile back
and they said it was a display bug that they're tracking down.

ok, many thanks again! ;)
just a display then - no corrupt data...

ps. hey if you're programming software for MNM it would be awesome if
there was a possibility to dump your own drumsounds to replace the
dbox woodbloks! (i mean lo-fi sounds are cool but those drumsounds are
just... somewhre in between!) hehe

yeah, right :-) I'm not programming anything that will affect how the
MnM or MD
runs at all, so I have no way of doing such a thing. my software will
just run on a
computer connected to the MD or MnM.

only Elektron can change the sound engine inside their machines, so you
should
contact them with your request.

sysex

2005-11-20 by A.N.A.L.E.P.T.

hello,

I have a little question about sysex and machine drum.
Is it possible to save a song by sysex which contain several differents kits?
For a live use, I have 7 differents tracks with differents tempo & kits (like patterns A01, D01,G13...)
or should I have to save one pattern after another (so 7 times).

'cos when you recieve sysex in the MD there's only one kit to choose...

& someone can explain the difference between the 3 sysex mode ?
Thanx.
