MD Machine Lab (an app for Mac OS X)

MD Machine Lab (an app for Mac OS X)

2004-08-20 by sidstationownsyou

I'm almost done coding "MD Machine Lab"! It's a completely re-written version of my
previous program, "Machinedrum Machine Maker". I've just got a few more features I want
to add before releasing it.

I'm going to need a couple of beta testers, so if you're running Mac OS X, and you're
interested in beta testing, let me know.

Also, MD Machine Lab will be fully internationalized, supporting as many languages as
possible. If you speak a language besides English, and wouldn't mind translating a few
words and short phrases for me, let me know.

Here are just a few of the many new features I've incorporated into MD Machine Lab:

- Unlimited levels of undo/redo

- Saving

- Allows multiple editor windows to be open at the same time

- Printing

- Completely new GUI (which runs WAY faster)

- User preferences

- Internationalized (supports multiple languages)

- Software updates

I'll keep you posted,

Andrew

I'd be willing to test. You can email me at moving808@....
Don't use this yahoo email. It's full of spam and I never use it.

Where's the MD PC love? Thats all fine and good that there are Mac
apps
, but what about the PC users?. I would program somthin, but I dont
know the the language. Show us some PC love, y'all. Show us some
love. I don;t have anything against Mac users, but I kinda do.
Where's the love for for the ugly unfashionably designed computer
tower users that still use out there? Im more utilitarian than than
the average mac user, and i still get by. So where's the love?
anyways Im kinda mad that there's no shit on the beige box for the
MD. Im not pissed but just curious. No big deal. Oh well.

I heard it was quite easy to write a program from PC(DOS?) to
Mac(UNIX?). I don't know the other way around. I think if someone
would like and knew how to do it they probably could. I have no clue
either about programming.

Lay off the macs until you've tried OSX. It's like PCs with all the
bs taken out.

Still waiting for that beta test...

It's going to be a couple of weeks before I start the beta test, but I'll let you know when I
do.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
