Elektron Musical Instruments

I'm trying to sequence my MD with Cubase SL 2.

My MD is set to local off.

I can change sequences but not kits.

Is there a way to change kits?

If I can't change kits, how do I assign a kit to a blank sequence?

sysex messages are the only way, I believe.  the back of the manual has

if you're using os 1.12, then use program change messages.  if you're using os 1.19,
then you're out of luck, unless you...

select a blank sequence and load a kit.  it'll stick.
