Pitching Tracks in a Pattern

Pitching Tracks in a Pattern

2004-10-17 by sndtek_79

Hi,

maybe someone has allready posted this question, but i didn`t find
something relative in the history...
I've got the following problem:

When I try to make a pattern with hihats, for example, and put them
on track 9 (CH). Now, I go to record mode and trig it 4 times in the
pattern at positions 1,5,9,13. My problem is now to edit the "Pitch"
or the "note-ammount" so that for example in the whole pattern the
first two ticks are in "C" and the last 2 ticks in "F"... Is there
any possibility to "transpose" the notes? (but each note single for
itself in a pattern) - I don`t want to do this by turning the pitch-
knob because some machines do not respond to the pitch knob as i
would like to have...

Another thing: Its a great feature that you can see the active
pattern blink now, when you press the bank-button. but it would be a
faster way (for me) if you could jump to the "next" and "previous"
pattern just by pressing function f.ex. and right/left

cheers,
sndtek

sorry for my bad english...

I get what you mean. It would be nice but there is not way to move up
all the notes together keeping their different pitches.

If you press function and left or right it will move all the triggers
left or right.
