Re: [emax] RE: drop in replacement oled for emax rack?

Kevin, have you any instructions and pix you could share along with part numbers of OLED used so some of us can give this replacement OLED
a go as well? Barring that, if Jammie or Ted have drop in replacements or know of any that would make things all the easier, cheers.

Jammie, could you sell me one of those 'ready to drop in' LCD displays along with a slim floppy if you have them?
my LCD is getting ready to nose dive
Thanks

even though it shows the connections on the end it will come with a inline connection and not parallel connection as needed
those displays are the ones i use and have been using before ted got the small batch made with the correct connection
its the same connections 1-14 3 does not need to be connected
and you have to drill 4 holes
if in rack and 2 holes if in keyboard
i have fitted 20+ of that dispaly

That isn't a "drop in" replacement- the pins don't match. Emax LCD has the connection on the end. It can work- you have to modify perhaps how the screw holes line up to mount (perhaps drilling holes), and solder the connections.
