Subject: [emax] RE: EMAX I replacement floppy drive
Hi
Yes, I have thought of the dual system option. But the EMAX that I have, I saved just as it was going to the dumpster at our local recycling station, so I dont know the full health of the machine. I know that the internal HD is dead, and probably some problem with the floppy (disk not formatted, even with EMPX formatted DD, bought EMAX bank floppys and floppys formatted in an EMAX). But other than that it looks clean and the PSU is ok and it start up to the point of "loading software..".
So now I'm looking for the cheapest way possible to see if I can get it going, and if so, then upgrad to dual system.
So a working EMAX floppy drive (even if just for a couple of days) would help me.
What prices are you thinking for old, working EMAX drives?
