the one you own will be an se version as is so will be no different

i would check the main board as you should have a 333 board in there with the bigger eprom and to make that scsi compatible all you would need is a scsi chip 

and then you can use the se hd osc or plus os

  Hi all, I just squired (thats a conjugation of Scored and Aquired!) my second Emax last week for the steal bargain of $125.00   with massive bulky anvil flight case.. Couldn't go wrong so HAD to buy it. Anyway, this one is an SE 1000 model and the guys says that means its Synthesis Enhanced, whatever that means. My original unit is a 1010 model Emax HD with a PCD 50B in there ...and with the kind of help of Ted I finally got it up and running like a champ (sans the HD as Ted said running both would burn up the power supply)

  Anyway, trying to find the original SE manual if anyone knows where I can locate a pdf online and certainly would be ears to any input as to what makes the SE unit any more different/special/better/worse than the one I already own
