correct, or you can get a cable often times that already has the terminator permanently attached to the end (this prevents it coming loos).

And just to be sure I understand your suggestion, I should remove the single-device scsi ribbon cable I currently have (where the drive is already the last item in the chain), replace it with a 2 device cable (connecting the drive to the 1st connection) AND then affix an active terminator to the last drive connection.
