Opened up all 4 of my Emaxes and they are all PC333 boards. Suppose they could still have broken pins, but it seems unlikely all 4 suffer from the same issue, especially since they work fine reading/writing to my last good scsi hdd.
Also bought a USB card reader and I am now finally able to read an Emax formatted CF in EMXP. I took a CF card that I reformatted in Emax (because emxp formatted cf wasn't recognized) and had also saved 2 banks to it in Emax. When trying to read those banks in Emax I always get the Hard Disk Error. But interestingly in EMXP I was able to read those banks, copy them off to floppies and then load those floppies in the Emax. That tells me the save is not corrupted so I have to assume the read is the issue.

I'd like to take you up on your offer. When you say to send you "the logic, adapters, and CF stuff..." are we just talking about the Acard, the 2 IDE CF Readers, and my cf cards? Let me know if there's anything else you would need.
