Everything works fine. Only the display messes up.
I guess I must try and jiggle the connections with power on to see if something happends.

Hi Ted
Thanks for your answer.
It's the keys version. Tried cleaning the connectors with isopropyl ans Deoxit yesterday but it did not make any difference.
I filmed the display:

Any more suggestions?
Thank you

Hi all
The display on my Emax was making weird lines etc. and since everything else is working fine I thought a new display would fix it and I bought a Raystar as mentioned in another thread (thanks).
But damn if that didnt help, its still making weird signs just in OLED now :o) (see attachment)
Everything else seems to work fine. The sign change whith different buttonpresses and sometimes there is cursor blinking too.
Any idea what could be causing this?
Thank you
Regards Christian

Bad connection at the connector to the logic board is common, or if a keyboard (not rack, as that's soldered) the connection to the panel PCB if you didn't solder those connections can affect it too.

If you wish to share a pic you have to either upload it to the files, or provide a link to where it's hosted on some other site (instagram, wordpress, or wherever)…..

It still looks like a bad connection type issue to me.
In the video, you never actually play any sounds.
Does the Emax work?
If it doesn't boot / play sounds I would reseat all the connectors and socketed ICs.
