Re: [emax] EM1 files from the box

Have you tried downloading the Factory HD images I put up on box in the djtbs1 folder?

You can extract the individual bank images from them then write them to floppy.

those images shouldn't be corrupt.

Hi

Im having some trouble with some of the .EM1 files from box.com.

When copying some of the banks to a floppy and load the floppy I get incomplete, stuttering sounds and wierd fonts in the display of the EMAX. When trying to convert the banks to .wav in EMXP some sounds also are corrupt or very small files or I get the message "Fatal Error! Error code 8" in EMXP.

These errors have occured on some of the factory sound disks (mostly on the disks with number above ZD770) and the first 3-4 banks of "Dana F Sound Disks".

I have the latest EMXP and I get the same problem on different computers. All banks have been compressed and downloaded as a package from the box.com (maybe compressing/uncompressing does something wierd?

Anyone else experiencing this?

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
