Thanks.
Pedro.

Hi, I'm almost positive you can't load Emax 2 files on an emax 1 but if you
have an Emulator III or III X you can load them from a emax2 hard disk. a
real shame the EIII can't read emax 1 banks.. honestly though the filters on the
emax (to my ears aleast) sound better then the EIII or the EIIIX series
samplers.. Never have understood why they strayed away from the SSM filters on the
EIII and opted for CEM (curtis) filters.. anyone know the story behind this?
BTW. I asked about my emax a few months ago cause of a sick lcd ( light
suddenly going out and the machine buzzing and getting weird lines through it) I
took it apart since and the power supply is working fine... it seems as if the
lcd itself refuses to seat properly and the slightest movement or jolt sends
it screaming.. I'm pretty much at a loss as it's been collecting some dust over
the matter as my k2500rs and eIII have hard disks and are reliable... but I
want to use my once trusty (still warmer, fatter) emax for stuff... anyone have
any history with the lcd and it's seating? thanks, Nicholas
