ive noticed that too, i often got bored of programming my D50 and other stuff, when i did id plug them into my emax2 which seems to give a whole new dimension to the patch id created on the synths making them sound pretty dull and lifeless in comparison (why is this sounding like a shampoo ad?)Im sure its to do with the filters and the sample rate, ive never played an emax1 so i cant compare filters to my emax 2, the D50 and other synths will probably get swapped/sold for other synths, infact due to space issues caused by a new members of the family, the D50 has gone to a mates house, most of my amps/guitars and synth stuff is in my dads garage and ive rammed all my clothes into 2 draws so that i can have a cupboard for my emax2 which i'll not be letting fester in a garage somewhere! I have been playing with the synth patches (Das Synth and FM synth) and have to say that they sound way more impressive than my D50, TX7 or M1 synths! Are the synth patches samples or SE created internally? Thought this may generate some discussion instead of the usual problems and repairs :-) Yahoo!
