Hi,
Ensure
Alchemy is set for the Emax as its sampler, and with the right Mac port (modem
or printer).
Disconnect any MIDI cables from the Emax, or at least ensure there is no
MIDI information coming into the Emax.
Our
Emax is set to omni, rather than a specific MIDI port, and we use GetAll in the
Network dropdown in Alchemy.
Try
both the modem and printer ports, in case one is duff.
Try
setting the MIDI channels to 1 on the Emax and Alchemy.
We
have a Mac Quadra 800 with OS 8.0, but it will work on earlier
machines/OS's.

is anyone using emax1 rs-422 port for transferring samples (with mac) ?

used alchemyv3 on colorclassic/os 7.6.1 but nothing happens!
