RE: [emax] Re: emax hd se plus with zip? cd?

2001-01-11 by Rob Keeble

Hi,
The Emax HD uses the same SCSI hard disk (Miniscribe 8425S) that was fitted to a number of Mac models. Just check the make and model of the Mac hard disk, it is likely to be a Miniscribe 8425S, which will work very well after being formatted by the Emax. If you want to buy a tested, formatted and checked Minsicribe 8425S, we sell them on our web site for a low price. The drive can easily be mounted in the Emax, and if you have a plus then the internal SCSI connector is ready to be used. You can upgrade some base Emax's to SCSI, the details are on our web site but it is NOT easy.
Regards
Rob

I have tried the external zip to my EmaxSE, ok may Emax is the one
with the blue scsi.. It did not worked out for me any way?

But I have an other question.
Do any one know if the old HD from the Mac classic, which have the
20MB HD, work with the Emax?
